聖心会 NEANZ管区 管区長 シスターAnne Corryからのご挨拶
Welcome to our new province of NEANZ (North East Asia Australia New Zealand)! The Society of the Sacred Heart has endorsed the creation of this province which combines the former provinces of Japan, Korea-Chinese, Australia-New Zealand. We are very happy to share our mission even more widely. Our mission is expressed as discovering and revealing God's love in our world. Our world needs this vision of God's love. As a former student of Baradene College of the Sacred Heart, Auckland, New Zealand, I absorbed this message through Sacred Heart education. As students, we were encouraged to share it always. It is a great joy that our RSCJ sisters and so many of our lay friends and colleagues are working together. We are grateful to these 'partners in mission' who bring their support and energy and insight to the mission we are all called to serve. Our first priority as a new province is to get to know each other better. This has started already. Many of our sisters have travelled to other parts of our new province. All of us desire to know each other's cultures better. There is a strong history between our countries including the fact that the Japan province of the Sacred Heart was founded by sisters from Australia and New Zealand in 1908. May we continue to be inspired by our shared mission. If we are concerned that the task is too great, remember these words of one of our founding mothers, Janet Erskine Stuart, "It is always here and now, always the present moment to do the best we can."

聖心会日本管区は、2025年9月1日より、NEANZ（ネアンズ）管区の一つの地区となります。これまでのANZ（オーストラリア・ニュージーランド）管区、KOC（韓国・台湾・中国人）管区、そしてJPN（日本）管区が一つの管区に統合されます。North East・Australia・New Zealandの頭文字を取って名づけられました。
2024年、ローマで行われた聖心会総会において、2027年11月までに現行の管区を8つの管区に再編成することが決まりました。この統治機構のスリム化は、聖心会としての使命を活性化することを目的とし、これまでにも増して、多様な国々との対話や連携を促進していくことになります。創立者聖マグダレナ・ソフィア・バラの願いに応え、共に歩んでくださる皆様とご一緒に、これからも勇気と信頼を持って、「みこころの愛を伝える」という使命を生きていきたいと思います。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
