― 親子食堂　Caritas Parent-Children Kitchen

県立原町高校の生徒が１名ボランティアで参加。これからのイベントにも来られる時には原町高校の生徒たちが数人手伝いに来てくださることになりました。前回も来られたボランティアの方も来てくださいました。　One student from Haramachi Prefectural High School participated as a volunteer. It has been arranged that several students from Haramachi High School will come to help at future events whenever they can. A volunteer who had also come to the previous event joined us again.

― 浪江　復興祈念公園　Namie Reconstruction Memorial Park

国営福島県復興祈念公園の中に津波で一階部分が抜けている民家が残されています。両竹地区集落弥生時代から続いていた部落。津波で大きな被害を受けた場所。当時の家屋などの位置を盛土で残しています。　Within the National Fukushima Prefecture Reconstruction Memorial Park, a private home remains standing with its first floor washed away by the tsunami.　This is the Morotake district, a settlement that has existed since the Yayoi period. It was an area that suffered severe damage from the tsunami in March 2011.　The locations of the original houses and other structures have been preserved with earthen mounds.

今回は抹茶のお点前がありました。This time, there was a matcha tea ceremony.

― 薄田音楽隊コンサート　Susukida Music Ensemble Concert

久しぶりに南相馬でのコンサート。浪江、原町のあちこちで素晴らしい演奏。　今回は落語家の春風亭愛橋さんとのコラボ。ハープ、クラリネット奏者も加わりました。　シエラザード（アラビアンナイトの物語）の音楽に合わせての語り。高齢者のサロンの方々をお招きして、楽しんでいただきました。　A concert in Minamisoma for the first time in a long while.　Wonderful performances were held in various locations throughout Namie and Haramachi.　This time, they collaborated with rakugo storyteller Shunputei Aikyou. Harp and clarinet players also joined the performance. The storytelling was accompanied by music from　"Scheherazade" (a tale from *One Thousand and One Nights*). We invited members of a senior citizens' salon, and they thoroughly enjoyed the event. 

― 佐藤梨園とローズガーデン　Sato Pear Orchard and Rose Garden

福島市黒岩にあるロースガーデン。梨園もある広大なガーデン。すでに梨の小さな実がついていました。これからはダリアも綺麗に咲くそうです。　The Rose Garden is located in Kuroiwa, Fukushima City. It is a vast garden that also includes a pear orchard. Small pears were already beginning to form. We are told the dahlias will soon be blooming beautifully as well.

―「Come and See 福島」プロジェクト　"Come and See Fukushima" Project

春と秋、2回の実施を予定しています。今回は8名の方の参加。秋田、福島、東京、浜松、神戸、九州から来てくださり、東日本大震災から15年経った今の状況を見ていただきました。　We plan to hold this event twice a year, in spring and fall. Eight people participated this time. They came from Hokkaido, Akita, Fukushima, Tokyo, Hamamatsu, Kobe, and Kyushu to see the current situation 15 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

― 浪江に新しくオープンした「パラディーソ」コミュニテイーセンターでのコンサート　Concert at the newly opened "Paradiso" Community Center in Namie

武内良太朗さんのバイオリンと根本摩利さんのピアノ。20−30人くらいが入れる小さなセンター。家庭的な暖かい雰囲気でのホームコンサート。今回は2回目。これから定期的にコンサートが予定されています。　Featuring Ryotaro Takeuchi on violin and Mari Nemoto on piano. A small center that can accommodate about 20–30 people. A home concert with a warm, cozy atmosphere. This was the second such event. Concerts are scheduled to be held regularly from now on.

― カリタス南相馬の畑　 The Caritas Minamisoma vegetable garden

2026年3月末に始めた畑。6月には立派にきゅうりが育ち、毎朝３−4本の収穫を楽しんでいます。ナスも大きくなり始めています。ミニトマト、ピーマンの収穫を楽しみにしています。カリタス南相馬のデッキにはプランターに色々のハーブも育っています。セロリ、バジル、パセリ、大葉、三つ葉、ミントなど。　We started this garden at the end of March 2026. By June, the cucumbers had grown beautifully, and we have been enjoying harvesting 3–4 of them every morning. The eggplants are also starting to grow larger. We are looking forward to harvesting cherry tomatoes and bell peppers. Various herbs are also growing in planters on the deck at Caritas Minamisoma, including celery, basil, parsley, shiso, mitsuba, and mint.
