“Be like those who are waiting for their master to return…” (Luke 12, 36) |

“What reward will he give us if he finds us vigilant, arms in hand, attentive to preserving peace, humility, zeal? It’s Jesus Christ himself who will serve us at supper, who will be the tree of life, who will be everything. Let us remember this master who, finding his servant watching, rewards him so generously.” |
|
For prayer : Today’s liturgy calls us to watchfulness. I must be watchful in prayer as well. At the end I will take a moment to reflect on what has happened: Have I respected the time and the place of prayer? What words, verses, images have spoken to me? What state am I in as I move on from prayer? Sad, worried, fearful or energetic, happy and full of hope? |

Today’s liturgy calls us to watchfulness. I must be watchful in prayer as well. At the end I will take a moment to reflect on what has happened: Have I respected the time and the place of prayer? What words, verses, images have spoken to me? What state am I in as I move on from prayer? Sad, worried, fearful or energetic, happy and full of hope?
