For prayer :

Several times, Madeleine Sophie Barat recalled how much the Church owed to Saint Ignatius, to his zeal for the mission, his love of the Church, his generosity, his desire to work for “the greater glory of God.” Let us pray today that Ignatian congregations, of both men and women, as well as lay people who draw on the spirituality of Saint Ignatius, may be faithful to their vocation to follow Christ, according to their own charism.

Let us ask him to obtain for us his zeal for the salvation of our neighbor, for that is the only way to procure the glory of God…We must also love. You, by constant self-denial, ought to become instruments that God can use at will without finding the least resistance.

何回かマグダレナ・ソフィアは教会がどれだけ聖イグナチオに負うところがあるか、ミッションへの熱意、教会への愛、彼の寛大さ、「より大いなる神の栄光のために」働く望みなどについて思い起こさせます。今日、イグナチオの霊性に従う男女の修道会、聖イグナチオの霊性に生きる一般の人々が、それぞれのカリスマにより、キリストに従う呼びかけに忠実であるように祈りましょう。

私たちの隣人の救いのための熱意を得られるように彼に願いましょう。それが神の栄光を達成するための唯一の道だからです。私たちは愛さなければなりません。私たちは、絶えず自分を抑え、神様が何のためらいもなく、お好きなようにお使いになれる道具とならなければなりません。
