Sir 3, 17-19; Ps 67; Heb 12, 18-29; Lk 14, 1-14 “If one of you has a child or an ox that has fallen into a well, will you not immediately pull it out on a Sabbath day?” (Luke 14, 5) |

“In the midst of so many occupations, keep a place for Jesus in the depth of your soul; that is to say, do not scatter all your energies outward. Unite yourself at depth to the will of God, which will support you in continual self-sacrifice. Let your intention be pure, all your actions for him alone. Act calmly, even amid pressing duties; and in organizing your day and your work learn to save a few moments to spend near the altar. Believe that our good master will be pleased with your self-denial and renunciation. He will make up for lengthy prayers and fill you with his spirit and his presence.” |
|
For prayer : During the day in the midst of activity or during a break, I will turn to a verse of the Gospel or the psalms to place my life, my actions and eventual concerns under the eye of the Lord. |

For prayer : 祈りのために During the day in the midst of activity or during a break, I will turn to a verse of the Gospel or the psalms to place my life, my actions and eventual concerns under the eye of the Lord. 活動している最中でも、或いは休んでいるときでも、聖書の一句とか詩篇の一句に戻り、自分の生活、おこない、心に掛かることを主の目の前に差し出します。 by Marie-Thérèse Deprecq, rscj of France (穎川政子訳) |
