The Gospel passage presented today is an extract from the “priestly prayer” of Christ.

今日の福音の箇所はキリストの'司祭の祈り'からの抜粋です。

I simply take the words of Jesus himself, and choosing one word, several words or a verse of this prayer, I repeat them slowly, savoring the word or phrase as long as I wish.

イエズスご自身の言葉から一つの言葉或い はいくつかの言葉、或いはこの祈りの一節を選んでゆっくり繰り返して、好きなだけ時間をとってそのことばを味わいます。

I apply them to myself in an act of petition, of gratitude or prayer for pardon.

願いとか感謝の形で、或いは赦しを願いな がら、それらを自分に当てはめてみます。
